Itinerary
Expand allDay 1: Arrival in Leh → Acclimatization → Local sightseeing
Arrive in Leh and check into your hotel. Spend the day resting to acclimatize to the high altitude. In the afternoon, explore Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa, and local markets at a relaxed pace. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 2: Leh → Nubra Valley
Drive to Nubra Valley via the Khardung La Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world. Visit Diskit Monastery, see the giant Buddha statue, and explore Hunder Sand Dunes, including a camel ride. Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.
Day 3: Nubra → Pangong Lake
Depart from Nubra early morning and drive to Pangong Lake, crossing scenic mountain passes and valleys. Spend time at the lake, enjoy photography and the sunset, and stay overnight near Pangong.
Day 4: Pangong → Leh
Return to Leh, stopping at the Magnetic Hill, confluence of rivers, and scenic viewpoints. Arrive in Leh by evening, relax, and explore local markets if time permits. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 5: Departure
